This was the first book I have read for ages and I could not put it down! As I lived near Whitby for a while I could really picture the smugglers! A truly captivating read!
About the author
Jessica Blair grew up in Middlesbrough, trained as a teacher and now lives in Ampleforth. She became a full-time writer in 1977 and has written more than 50 books under various pseudonyms.
