Clint Adams had never been one to turn his back on a lady in distress. So when he got an urgent message from the beautiful Lillie Langtry, he was quick to rush to her side. Clint had met the legendary star of the stage months earlier in New York. And during their precious few days in her hotel room, he had proved he was her biggest fan of all.

But now Lillie's getting the kind of attention no woman seeks. A deadly stranger is watching her every move—and Clint is the only man who can help her. Lillie knew she could put her safety in the hands of the Gunsmith. And Clint prayed he could expose her one-man fan club—before this real-life drama cost Lillie her life.
