A deliciously fun, romantic story complete with a great plot and two main characters you'll love. This one has it all! Sabrina is on "break" with her fiancé at his request. Since she believes in fate and after going to have her fortune told with her bestie, the few words she gets just serve to reinforce her belief that she and David belong together. The scene is hysterical. David is a safe bet, and Sabrina needs that in her life. She thinks every marriage should be like her parents who were killed in an accident and takes everything as a "sign." She has a job she loves and is a dedicated employee to the business. Bright, articulate and creative she's loved by her employer. Enter Jack Brenner who is the son of the boss. Next in line to run the business and when Dad brings Jack back to the main office he thinks he's going to get the coveted position he pretty much feels entitled too. Sabrina and Jack have a tenuous relationship and having Jack back in the office has Sabrina a little edgy especially since Jack's father told him he needed to clean up his act a little and settle down so the board thinks he's serious about the business and his job. And Sabrina is now Jack's assistant. Just a little handiwork by Jack's father. Faced with having to work with each other and trying to get along is a bit of a challenge, Jack loves busting her chops and Sabrina is at times an easy target, but she's no dummy trust me on that one. When they both need mutual favors they strike a deal. Jack will help make David jealous and Sabrina will be Jack's fake girlfriend. And the story takes off and doesn't come in for a landing until the end and I loved every single minute of this one! It's a gooey, romantic easy read with two fantastically written characters and the dialogue is stellar! It's the perfect story! 4.5 stars arc from NetGalley and Entangled for an honest review

This is a sweet romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. Sabrina is a smart businesswoman in her professional life, but somewhat needy in her personal life. When her fiance dumps her, she is left adrift, but is convinced/hopeful that he'll come back to her. Jack is the ultimate playboy with no intention of every getting married when his dad (and both his boss and Sabrina's boss) tells him his personal life is hurting him and the company and refuses to promote him until he cleans up his act. Since Jack knows how highly regarded his dad views Sabrina, he cooks up the whole fake dating thing, convincing Sabrina that her ex will become jealous and want her back if he sees her with someone else..... Things work out too well and both Sabrina's ex returns and Jack's dad is proud of him, but as might be expected, somewhere along the way, the fake relationship began to feel real. Since neither knows how the other really feels, there is a fair amount of angst and misinterpretations that kept me turning pages as quickly as possible. Yes, it's predictable, but the journey was thoroughly enjoyable and a perfect light romance. If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book. I love this authors' work and have her on my must read authors' list.
