Opposites Attract in this Sweet and Sexy Sports Romance I’m pretty much in love with Sarah Blue and Brigham Monaghan. They’re the hero and heroine in “Rounding the Bases,” the third installment in Jacqueline Snowe’s Out of the Park sports romance series. When strong, sexy pro athlete Brig meets wide-eyed, blue-faired beauty Sarah (his “Blue Bell”), their connection is immediate and intense. I love their sweetness as they get to know each other and discover more and more to love about one another. There is some tension created within a couple of side plots that I really enjoy, but at the heart of it is a swoon-worthy, opposites-attract love story that had me with the “awwws,” the watery eyes, and the sighs. I love the side characters and the appearances made by couples from the previous stories in the series as well. Since I hadn’t read the previous stories, I’m thrilled to do so in preparation for additional installments in the series. Five stars, Ms. Snowe!

This is the third book in the Out of the Park series. This series has been a great one so far and this book didn't disappoint. Its steamy, funny enjoyable read. Great addition to the series. I love a good bad boy/good girl romance and this book was a perfect blend. Brigham's Career with the team is hanging by a very thin thread. He meets Sarah and loves that she has no idea who he is. She's pet sitting for three months in the penthouse across from his and the bond over their dislikes the overly stuffy doorman for the building. Will the bad boy of baseball be able to hold onto Sarah? You can easily enjoy this book as a standalone, but Brigham is friends and teammates with Gideon and Brooks the guys in books one and two. If you've read the series so far, you'll get to see some of the previous characters. If you love sports romance or a good bad boy story, I highly recommend grabbing this book. ROUNDING THE BASES was a perfect sports romance! When Sarah Blue takes a job as a pet sitter for the summer in a swanky penthouse suite, she has no idea that the neighbor across the hall is the famous, incredibly hot, baseball player Brigham Monaghan. Sarah is at a crossroads in her life, dealing with disapproving parents and her uncertain future dreams of owning a dog lodging/grooming/adoption business. Brigham is dealing with bad press and a public image in need of repair. This unlikely couple make sparks fly as soon as they meet. I loved this book so much. I haven't read the first two books in the series, but after reading ROUNDING THE BASES, I'm certainly adding them both to my TBR. Brigham is my new book boyfriend, and is So. Incredibly. Sweet. Sarah is quirky and adorable. I loved how honest Brigham and Sarah were with each other about their attraction. And there are PUPPIES! The friendships and side characters (like Fernie the doorman!) made for entertaining breaks from the romance, and there was a perfect, contemporary romance type plot alongside the growing relationship between Brigham and Sarah. Ms. Snowe knows how to bring on the heat, but with emotion, too, and the sex scenes were certainly steamy, but not gratuitous. I thoroughly enjoyed ROUNDING THE BASES and I'll be adding Ms. Snowe to my list of one-click authors! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
