About this ebook

Lost as a young child, Elizabeth is found by the Darcys and becomes a valued member of the family. In fact, she becomes so close that Lady Anne Darcy considers her to be a second daughter.

The grammatical and punctuation errors were extremely distracting. There were moments when huge mistakes were made in the text. At one point lady Ann Darcy says something and after the quote it says "said lady Catherine" . Lady Catherine wasn't even in that entire chapter! Another mistake quotes Darcy's Uncle saying" I remember speaking to your father several months after his death"!! What?! He spoke to him AFTER he died??

An enjoyable story, I can't help but think that it would have benefited greatly by the application of the apparently lost art of proofreading. I would be reading and enjoying the story only to be jarred by a mistake in syntax.

Great read and cleverly crafted, but I have to agree, there are a number of typos that slowed my reading, figuring out what was meant to be said.

Jann Rowland is a Canadian. He enjoys reading and sports, and he also dabbles a little in music, taking pleasure in singing and playing the piano.

Though Jann did not start writing until his mid-twenties, writing has grown from a hobby to an all-consuming passion. His interest in Jane Austen stems from his university days when he took a class in which Pride and Prejudice was required reading. However, his first love is fantasy fiction, which he hopes to pursue writing in the future.

He now lives in Alberta with his wife of more than twenty years and his three children.
