This is book two in the Brides with Style series. Even though it is a stand alone, I would suggest you reading the first one, Every Bride Needs a Groom, first to get a full understanding of all that is happening in this one. It focuses on the same main characters, and it is a great read too. We continue in the lives of Brady James and Katie Fisher. Katie now lives in Dallas even though her small hometown is not to far away. When Brady learns he must face another knee surgery and therefore his return to pro basketball is in more question than ever, will their relationship be able to handle this season in their life? As Katie deals with understanding Brady and trying to be there for him, will her ex-boyfriend, Casey, be the one to help her through or does he have a different motive? What is life without a little confusion. Katie's large family is a huge part of who she is, they meddle in each others life, and only want what is best for them. Will Brady be able to handle whatever outcome his knee surgery will be or will he push those he loves to far? I love the whole family chemistry in this novel, if you are not from a large family or one that is all in your business and is happy to share their opinion openly, you may have difficulty placing yourself in this book. However, if your family is anything like mine it won't be hard at all. I love the humor, the age gaps, the dialogue between all the characters throughout this novel. It is full of comedy, heartache, and relying on God and family. I was given a copy of this novel from net galley for my honest opinion.
