This was a great book! Georgia donated and egg and is being a surrogate for Nikos, a wealthy Greek, because the money would help her get out of debt and support her younger sister through college. She really just wants to finish medical school and be a doctor. But Nikos changes the terms of the agreement part way through and insists that Georgia spend her third trimester in Greece so he can keep her and the baby safe. There were so many emotions throughout this story. Nikos was deeply scarred by his past and this baby was his plan to help move his life forward in a positive way. Georgia was struggling emotionally at times, pregnancy hormones didn't help the situation either. The spark between them was great. I really enjoyed how much Nikos held back in an attempt to protect Georgia.

This story reminded me of a grown-up plot twist of Beauty and the Beast. Georgia agrees to be a donor and surrogate to make money to pay for med school and her sister's college education. When the Greek tycoon with scars and a secret past wants her to finish her pregnancy in Greece, tensions mount. But the sparks between them turn from strangers to desire. Proximity fuels the flames of need until they give in to temptation. Crossing the line and giving her heart to the baby she has to give up and to the man who doesn't want her makes Georgia leave. Nikos can't believe any woman could want him nor love him, and he makes the ultimate sacrifice to prove his trust and love--primary custody to Georgia and allowing her to return to the US. Living together as a family leads to the best HEA! Wonderful story!

Loved this story of Nikos and Georgia, both very strong people. Georgia became the surrogate for tycoon, Nikos, to finish her medical school and put her sister through med school. Nikos has many scars, physical and emotional but wants a heir to leave his legacy. During her third trimester, he demands that she lives on his Greek Island, isolated from everyone. They soon find chemistry between them once Georgia chips away at his tough exterior of many scars. I was hooked on this story from the first page and kept turning them until the end of the book. A well written story. I felt so bad for Nikos but Georgia was the perfect person for him. Georgia is a very person, who is not afraid to back down and has her life planned out until Nikos might change things. I highly recommend this story!!
