Rollins continues to keep me on the edge of my seat with the Sigma Force novels! Although this one dealt with a subject matter that is beyond the grasp of my brain power, he managed to explain, educate and totally enthrall me with the possibilities. I have yet to read a James Rollins book I didn't love!

Too many ideas! An oversimplification of astrophysics masquerades as the scientific component of a historical mystery / ticking time bomb / globe trotting adventure. A fast read with some good ideas for an Indiana Jones style hunt but they're smothered by all the other ideas.

One sad note, (don't read further if you don't like spoilers) two of my favorite charters are killed off in this book, wish we didn't lose them....
