3.75⭐ Hot to the Touch was a cute, easy to read, sweet story. That had likable characters and little angst. Yet, I did find it quite slow and I didn't feel that connection/spark between lead characters Becks and Jackson. And honestly the romance all fell a little flat for me. But it was a nice read and I did stay engaged. Plus, I do like the secondary characters enough to want to read more about them. So, I would certainly check out book two when it's released.
