About this ebook

In 2008, J.K. Rowling delivered a deeply affecting commencement speech at Harvard University. Now published for the first time in book form, Very Good Lives offers J.K. Rowling's words of wisdom for anyone at a turning point in life, asking the profound and provocative questions: How can we embrace failure? And how can we use our imagination to better both ourselves and others?

Drawing from stories of her own post-graduate years, the world-famous author addresses some of life's most important issues with acuity and emotional force.

JK Rowling is a Transphobic piece of trash, in that award/'bout the author section they should mention her award for transphobia (thx BBC), the book has sloppy dialogue semi - cringy and dark protaganists. Truthfully I am disgusted by the people who give this a good review because of THE AUTHOR, know. I understand giving the HP's good reviews 'cus there good. But not this, your basically endorsing a homophobic piece of BANTHA FODDER, See yah in hogwarts, not, don't let the muggles get you down (except for in ratings) and may the force be with y'all.

I didn't even read this book but I gave it 4 stars because it is J.K.Rowling's book , and also if I could I would give it 5 stars but I didn't give it because I will only give 5 stars to only one book in my life which is harry potter (the 8 books)
