But if all that sounds great, this swoon worthy romance is for you!"** This Volume contains: 1 - SURRENDERED TO THE PACK This book took off running within the first few paragraphs and didn't stop the entire length. A short, fast paced book filled with trepidation, tradition, lust, and tightly strung emotions. Characters with personality traits so relatable they suck you in making you feel like an old friend being let into a secret story. This was definitely not what I was expecting to say the least, but boy did it blow my expectations out of the water. 2 - CLAIMED BY THE PACK Not only has the plot thickened, but we see pack politics in work. The power of the alpha. The strength of the mate bond. And the loyalty and rivalry of siblings. Not only is this filled with the intense chemistry of wolf shifter lore but with all the emotionally charged suspense the plot brings to the story. I can't wait to see what's next. 3 - TAKEN BY THE PACK Cassie before the Council for acknowledgment, you could feel the tension rise. Cassie has been acknowledged by the council and as she proclaimed, she was there to be claimed by the pack even though she had no idea what that meant. Tasmin has once again moved the political pieces into play, being the one representing the pack to claim her as she names Thayne, their brother and Trevor's rival for Alpha, as the representative for the council. This public claiming will change not only Cassie's life but the entire political game that's in play. THIS has been a fast moving, action packed series and this book only added to the impact of all that is transpiring. What a great book! 4 - MATED TO THE PACK The plot has been foiled, Trevor and Cassie are together and yet Trevor is still holding back and turning into 'Mr. Granite Man'. While in the mist of passion, Trevor calls Cassie 'my love' it takes a split second before he immediately pulls the mask on his face, jumps up, tells Cassie to stay put, leaves the chambers and locking her in. He can't run fast or far enough to get away from the emotions he's been trying to banish. Cassie immediately shifts, break down the door and follows so she can find out what just happened. This was the perfect ending to not only the book, but to Volume 1 of "Wicked Wolf Shifters"

ONE EXTREMELY INTENSE EXPERIENCE!!! Holy Sheet! Crapola! Talk about mind blowing, jaw dropping, duck and run. You ain't met nothing until you hit it here. This is one enthralling storyline with an explosive plot that rocks this read from the git-go. A whirlwind of emotions and events that will shake you to the core. Lauren's on one of those take no prisoners attitude and it totally brings this little shocker bursting to life beautifully. This baby lures you in so deep with all the trials and tribulations along with it's throng of revelations really brings this jewel together spectacularly. Throw in all the drama and suspense and you have one intense, electrifying tale that captures your attention from start to finish. The characters are complex, impressive and so realistic with such depth and originality its easy to relate. The scenes are written with such realism theres no trouble interpreting each scenario as they play off one another perfectly. Spectacular job Lauren.

The five stars are for the story and the fact that I liked the characters. I liked the alpha Trevor 's outdated mode of speech and Cassie 's sassy, strong ways. I liked the struggle they had to endure to grow and the strife from some of the pack mates. That is what I like about the book. But if you do not like books that are XXXX rated, stay away from this one. I really like the I book. The characters were interesting and likeable. The storyline was different and enjoyable with just the right touch of intrigue. It started out extremely steamy and explicit. I was pleasantly relieved to find that it cooled off enough to have an actual story behind all the heat. And I really did like the story very much. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
