It's odd because I am not a lover of Westerns. The writing, though, makes it so relatable, like being a fly on the wall, watching events unfold. If the focus of a Star Trek book is on Spock, you can count on me reading it. Ishmael, I've read since high school in the eighties. I still love it. Even knowing what's going to happen, I read with anticipation and tension. It's am excellent reminder that even cold, money motivated people have caring souls, which must dominate their decision making at times. You'll love the fight scene; not at all lame. And don't blame yourself for throwing punches at the air in support of the good guys. Unfortunately, I can only give Ishmael two thumbs up...... because I don't have any more.
