If hadiths and sunnas are gospels, Islam and Mohammad would have had the most followers in the world and sword and wars would never have entered the dictionary of Islam! Mohammad himself would have lived a morally superior life. But the facts are otherwise. Just read your No 13 saying of your prophet and the reality of his true personality would be visible to all. Hadiths were written a hundred years after Mohammad's death. Quran, it is logical to assume, could not have been uttered or written in 23 months of his 23 years of prophesy. Who was with him to record the 5000 or so suras uttered in a state of trance in the 23 Ramzan months he had spent? Every thing of his speech and acts were justified, because his was the most profitable and pleasurable venture ever! And he is being followed till this date for the same reason. His anger and angst. are the anger and angst of every muslim. His interpretations of God and other religious tenets are held high, rubbishing others. The fear he had induced I. the minds of his brethrens of Mecca and Medina must have been cruel. Not having been married 13 times, at 25 with Khadija, a rich and vicious woman of 43 and Ayesha, a child of 6, fit to be his grand daughter, he went for more!. Of course, everything is justified in Quran by Allah and his social circumstances. He, Allah's Messenger of peace could do no wrongs! The tomes written about him could never be wrong! As Shakespeare had said 'his honour rooted in dishonour'! and his morality was warped. He had no scruples and had lived and died like a perfect scoundrel. Godliness he never had an iota of! I happened to read Khalil Gibran's book 'The Prophet'. His writings, his poetical choice of words and his child-like mind, made me weep, for that's how many gullible muslims weep over the hadiths! Poor deceived souls! I see majority of Muslims are decent, loving, humane souls. But think of the millions of human potentials being wasted in their gullibility.Other religions advocate dispassion while Islam calls upon its disciples, the other way! Buddha had said ' you are not punished for your anger; but by! Passions have their uses. In youths, it enables us to learn things, music, sports, arts etc. But passions must be spent and finally controlled to enable you to lead a normal life. Socially and economically beneficial passions lead to growth of oneself, his society and his nations. But the problem with Muslims and Islam is that god himself comnands Muslims to kill and wage wars. He promises His followers a jannat of passionate life in the herafter too! Islam means total obedience; not to question Him and his Prophet'. It puts fear of Hell' and retribution to them and apostasy is considered the most heinous of all crimes! A fasting muslim and a believer is promised jannat while others are confined to eternal hell . God is so insecure in His heaven,he wants to bind His humans to remain gullible to His commands! A god of clay and stone is a million time better than such a mindless god!Better compile a book, specially for Muslims and other bigoted souls, the true meaning of a god and a prophet. Better would be, to persuade them to think of a 'self', as Buddha did for 7 years to unlock his unconscious and attain peace and plenty, within!
