One of the best Yuri/Horror novel. The character dynamic is great, the plot retains both the mysterious and creepy atmosphere throughout the series. The story always leaves me on edge. I recommend this story if you're fan of horror as the horror elements are mostly derived from urban legends, 2chan and trueghoststories. The Yuri is subtle at first but it picks up later on.

Really good, in a Southern Reach trilogy meets Tanis by way of creepypasta kind of way. Except that Japanese monsters are /weird/ in ways that western monsters aren't (at least, not to this western reader's jaded eyes) - it's a different aesthetic of fear which is really interesting to see.

I like how the author had the charters, setting, and, theme develop before the yuri in this series. it really helps the overall vibe of the book. That being said, it's kind of a slow burn. Not bait though!
