Portugal has a rich history dating back to the Roman Empire and has since seen influences from various civilizations including the Visigoths, Moors, and Celts. It is known for its stunning beaches, historic castles and cities, and its famous wine production, most notably port wine. The population of Portugal is approximately 10 million people, with the majority living in urban areas such as Lisbon, Porto, and Braga.
