Today, Maryland is known for its bustling cities, historic landmarks, and scenic natural areas. The state's economy is diverse, with industries such as agriculture, manufacturing, and technology contributing to its growth. Maryland is also home to several renowned universities, including Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland.
