Jake Gyllenhaal is an American actor and producer best known for his starring roles in films like "Brokeback Mountain", "Nightcrawler", and "Donnie Darko". Born on December 19, 1980 in Los Angeles, California, Gyllenhaal comes from a family of filmmakers and artists. Gyllenhaal has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe nomination, and an Academy Award nomination for his work in "Brokeback Mountain".
