About this ebook

Hong Chau is a Vietnamese-American actress who was born and raised in a refugee family in Thailand. She moved to the United States when she was nine years old and has been pursuing her acting career since then. Chau graduated from Boston University with a degree in creative writing and later went on to study acting in the New York Film Academy.

Chau's breakthrough role came in 2017 when she played the character of Ngoc Lan Tran, a Vietnamese refugee who is shrunk down to miniature size in the film "Downsizing.” Her portrayal earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture and brought her to the forefront of Hollywood's rising stars.
