A wonderfully adaptable collection of favorite Christmas hymns, carols, and songs designed for instrumental caroling or as accompaniment to singing. Arranged with melody and harmony parts for any combination of instruments including C instruments (violin, recorder, guitar), treble clef B-flat instruments (trumpet, clarinet, or tenor saxophone), E-flat instruments (alto saxophone, baritone saxophone, alto clarinet), and bass clef instruments (trombone, bassoon, baritone horn, cello, or string bass). In addition, a special part for flute is provided in the range which is comfortable for that instrument. The harmonization's correspond with those found in many hymnals and, therefore, instruments may play out of this book in worship celebrations with congregational singing, choirs, organ, piano, and other instruments. All of the parts are combined in this volume, so each part will need their own copy. William Bay received his undergraduate degree in business at Washington University in St. Louis and his MBA at the University of Missouri. He played trumpet and guitar professionally for many years and has authored hundreds of books on music education and performance. As president of Mel Bay Publications he has produced thousands of books dealing with an eclectic array of musical styles, genres and instruments and performed on many audio and video recordings. He is an accomplished composer and arranger. His books have sold in the millions. He was recently inducted into the Missouri Music Hall of Fame.
