I enjoyed this book. I loved the scenes of family, fun, and nature. The beautiful illustrations added to the story. It could also be a beginner reader. It would be a lovely bedtime story. I received an ARC through Netgalley and North Star Editions, and this is my unsolicited review.
About the author
An accomplished author and poet, Lauren Kukla has penned more than 100 nonfiction titles for young readers along with multiple picture books including Being Me from A to Z (Beaming Books). Beyond writing, Lauren is co-founder of Little Digital, an online platform for children’s interactive stories. She resides in a Minnesota farmhouse with her spouse, two young children, one very fluffy rescue dog, and a flock of regal chickens. Winter is her favorite season.
