Nick, a young illustrator, can't connect with people. Will McPhail has been contributing cartoons, sketchbooks and humour pieces to the New Yorker since 2014. His work has also been featured in Private Eye and the New Statesman. His debut graphic novel In. was published in 2021 and was a Guardian and Irish Times book of the year. In 2022, In. won the Betty Trask Prize. Will lives in Edinburgh, Scotland.
