BARRIE SUMMY grew up in Canada, about 2,500 miles away from Hollywood. She visited all the places in this book, bought loads of souvenirs, and discovered that she is not very good at recognizing famous people. She is the author of the I So Don’t Do mystery series starring thirteen-year-old detective Sherry Holmes Baldwin and THE DISAPPEARANCE OF EMILY H. She lives in Southern California with her husband, their four children, two dogs, a veiled chameleon, and a fish. There was once a dwarf hamster, but let’s not go there.
