About this ebook

A novel by Howard Harris, Sr.

Back to Babylon is a fictional account of the United States of America’s impending punishment by the eternal God of the Bible because of its disobedience and return to the decadence of ancient Babylon.

While based on Bible prophecy, it is a contemporary story of romance, devotion, political ambition, and international intrigue with appeal to every reader.

It is the story of a future US president and his devoted wife whose romance has carried them from the college campus to a governorship, the White House, and world stage.

He is locked in a reelection campaign, haunted by a broken commitment to God, plagued by fiscal instability, civil strife, disease pandemics, natural disasters, and other crises. He is challenged by a dynamic third-party candidate who threatens his reelection while betrayed by his own unscrupulous campaign manager bent on winning at any cost.

Simultaneously, he is threatened by a ten-nation coalition of European powers in concert with a false religious organization, intent on implementing their agenda for a one world government, one world economic system and one world religious organization as prophesied.

The story is an ominous message to God’s covenant people. But it has hope for those who will heed God’s warning.

Howard Harris Sr. is a former journalist, now a retired business executive.
