Andrea Romance
After a drunken celebration, librarian Hallie's best friend enters her in the mayoral race. Her opponent, Fitz, is from a prominent local family that's run the city for generations. He's also polished, charismatic, and incredibly hot. They're on opposite sides—so why is she falling for him? This is cute and fun rom com with likable characters and an engaging plot. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

I thought that this was a pretty fun read. The storyline was amusing and the banter sharp and clever. Fitz was a winner. I found him super easy to like and quite charming. I wish I could say the same for Hallie. Sadly, I can't say I clicked with her, and honestly, I found her annoying and frustrating way too often. I am independently posting an impartial review.

This is a fun and sexy romantic comedy that totally charmed me. I loved the characters and how Hallie, the librarian, is challenged to move out of her safe path. Fitz is the current mayor, and son of the reigning family that owns most of the town. He also wants to change his path, but feels trapped. When they come together on mayoral ballot, both get more than they bargained for. While filled with poignant moments, this book made me smile. If you enjoy the genre, you will love this book.
