Hot and Heavy

I enjoyed reading Cole and Melodie’s amazing story in Hot and Heavy by Erika Wilde, book two in her Some Like it Hot Series. Being the boss, Cole relied on dependable employees and knew his prim and proper sectary was the best; hard working, putting in 110% or more. Melodie crushed on her boss for years and was tired of being ignored. Melodie gets a make-over and takes on a new flirty attitude, as she tries to convince Cole to let her assist with her current case. Taking a cue from that case, she writes very provocative and suggestive letters to Cole; hoping to convince him to take her to bed. Cole is overwhelmed between having more cases than he can handle and wanting to take his secretary to bed. Melodie is taunting him, teasing him, making his burn for her but he promised her father that he would protect her; which makes her off-limits, even from himself. Cole just hadn’t counted on Melodie’s irresistible, sensual assaults nor the off the charts chemistry these two share. Melodie is hoping to soften his heart and lose it to her. Ms. Wilde wrote a wonderful, sizzling story; filled with off the charts chemistry, intense dialogue, steamy letters, and charming characters, giving Cole and Melodie a chance at a love and a future together. I definitely recommend Hot and Heavy to other readers and look forward to the next in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Throw in some legit hilarious banter, enough steam to raise your blood pressure...Cole and Melodie's slow-burn love story is the PERFECT way to spend a few hours of "me" time! Melodie Turner can't remember a time when she WASN'T in love with Cole Sommers...and since she's been working for him as his secretary for two years, things have just gotten more, shall we say, interesting? Cole has no clue whatsoever how his dependable secretary feels about him. He DOES feel an attraction to her but shuts down THOSE thoughts immediately. After all, Melodie is his mentor's daughter and he CAN'T cross that line! When Melodie has finally had enough and decides to go after what she wants, the results are EXPLOSIVE!!! Hot and Heavy is the second standalone in the Some Like it Hot series and I LOVED it! This is pure Erika Wilde at her best!
