Hot Shot

I know if I get too close to people, they disappear. My parents were deported back to Mexico when I was fourteen, my fiancée married someone else while I was in the military, and now my business partner’s spending more time with his girl than with me. For better or worse, that’s how I meet Carrie Garner. She’s legitimately model-hot and way out of my league, and I clearly annoy her.
