關於這本電子書

In the secluded village of Wintenbrook, an ancient darkness stirs beneath the surface, threatening to engulf the community in fear. The tale begins with Elsie, a curious and brave young woman, who, along with Father Bernard and her quick-witted friend Grace, uncovers a hidden altar beneath the village church, where a dark figure is revealed to be drawing power from the village’s inhabitants, causing them to vanish one by one.

Determined to confront this malevolent force, the trio learns that the altar is tied to an ancient pact that demanded sacrifices to keep the darkness at bay. As they delve deeper into the village’s history, they discover a way to rewrite this pact—an act of healing rather than harm.

As they perform the ritual, they initially succeed in banishing the darkness. However, just when they think they’ve won, the creature returns, threatening their newfound peace. In a surprising twist, Grace uses her humor and creativity to challenge the creature’s intimidating presence, proposing that it embrace change instead of continuing its reign of terror.
