Lawrence Van Rensselaer has purchased his first piece of land, and has plans to make a name for himself. He was tired of living under his father’s shadow and being a directionless billionaire, so he has a plan. He’s going to turn acres of raw, mountainous land into a luxury vacation resort.

There was only one problem: A cowboy was already living there, and he has ten wild mustangs, too.

Elijah “Eli” Coleman had a nice set-up. He had his mustangs and his log cabin, and he loved his job. He was happy. Or, well, he was content, until a spitfire of a man rolled up his dirt driveway and demanded he leave in thirty, no, twenty-eight days.

Lawrence had fire in his eyes and reminded Elijah of one of his wild mustangs. But as irritating as he was, Elijah can’t resist offering to help when his car envelopes him in smoke.
