Uuuhhh woah😭😩 The beginning really made me feel how much he loved and cared for the character these letters are directed to. We don’t talk but you’re still alive is painful but we don’t talk and you’re not alive sounds unbearable. But I’m happy it all ends in healing all thanks to the sea. We need a follow up on this. We need to hear how the sun heals those scars everytime it rises.

I'm not one to easily share my feelings, especially the soft, mooshy kind of feelings but reading this book made me tap into that territory. I think it's quite powerful to be able to articulate the emotions that most of us hide due to pride. Ironically, expressing your weaknesses are a sign of strength. Great read

I could almost see the montage of scenes with the turn of each page. A beautifully written emotional tribute - I got excited with narrator, I felt the desperation and hope with the progression of the book and the peak of despair before the abrupt end. I can't say it was an emotional rollercoaster because it felt sad throughout, even the moments of happiness had a tinge of sadness, it lingered and even though there is hope at the end and the narrator may or may not have found peace, the turmoil doesn't seem to have been assuaged. A moving piece of work. Worth the read and a reread. (I didn't want it to end.)
