Another fine installment in the already impressive Halo novel series. It never ceases to amaze me how interesting every story in the world of Halo is. This book is no exception: great job Joseph Staten!

This book is well written, fast paced, and takes a refreshing detour away from the core concerns of the halo e.u. I've always wanted a book focused on one of Thel 'Vadam's closest allies: Rtas 'Vadum. A page turner for sure, and what's there not to love about an unggoy who can kick a sangheili's a**? I recommend this to anyone who likes halo books (especially those who like being in the shoes of sangheili protagonists

I always loved Halo books. They are like an expansion pack to the Halo universe and each story has its owm agenda, purpose and link. This book emphasises on what happened after the human covenant war during the 4 years of master chief hiatus. An excellent read
