Novel Gulmohar Ki Chhanv narrates love story of idealistic poet Mayank and announcer Shefali. On provocation of Pranavda,Mayank takes challenge of rural development and succeeds the with help of Dr.Divya and youth brigade of one cultural organization. This rural awareness harts interest of Pranav who spreads rumors of Mayank-Divya affair to Shefali and Shefali-Divakar affair to Mayank and create confusion in their pure love relations. Pranav also instigate villagers to attack Mayank and runs away. Mayank recovers after treatment but these false rumors becomes obstacle in love life but after clearing misunderstandings Mayank and Shefali meets forever.

Vivek Ranjan ‘Vivek’ born-16 may 1963, Jabalpur (M.P.) Grandson of Acharya Hajari Prasad Dwivedi and Acharya Vishwanath Dwivedi ,author Vivek Ranjan “ Vivek” inspired from them and became interested in Hindi Literature. His parents always encouraged him to further improve his writings. During college days his poems, articles were regularly published in daily news papers. “Gulmohar ki Chhanv” is his first novel. Besides India author has also got opportunity to work in countries like Nepal,Botswana,Ethiopia,Brazil and Tanzania during his continued career span of more than 34 years. Currently as Quality control consultant he is associated in Cement industry.
