These books are wonderful but I would have to say that to properly enjoy this one and you definitely need to read the others. This might well work as a standalone but you would be missing a bit too much i think to grasp everything that is going on and all the nuances that tie back to previous books. These are repeat characters from Monster's Mystery. Siobahn and Aiden are returning to the academy after the holidays and end up with more than they had planned. A small fluffy bundle to be precise but there is more happening at the school and it is not good news! Love the world that has been created here, the characters and the dialogue is so good.

Intriguing read! The magic at Blackthorn Academy has diminished, the ley lines aren't charged with magic. The students that are returning are feeling the effects. Siobhan has been asked by the professors to investigate the issue and see if she can find the reason for the loss of magic. Highly entertaining spicy read! Gina and Erzabet have done a great job with this storyline. Great series by a variety of authors. Intrigued to see what is in store for Blackthorn Academy. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This story is another great read that's about Siobhan and Aiden adventures. After Siobhan and Aiden celebrated Christmas together, they return to Blackthorn Academy for Supernaturals and find the ley lines on the Island have disappeared, and magic is spotty and infecting all the familiars. Then Siobhan and Aiden get involved as the mystery unfolds in this twisty, suspenseful, romantic, and engaging read that kept me glued to the end. I'd volunteer to read and review this copy I'd received.
