In the midst of all the atrocities transpiring in Newark, New Jersey. MOTHER SHADIYA stands strong. She's has to raise 7 children without the help of a real man. Mother Shadiya's problems are real. Everytime she looks out of the window, or turns on the news someone she once knew is now dead. In a environment where hope is scarce, and disparity is plentiful. Mother Shadiya represents single, strong women all over the United States who struggle each, and everyday to create a better way for their families. Mother Shadiya has lived through it all. There's nothing new under the sun that she hasn't encountered. She's experienced abusive men, children gang banging, drug dealing, mass incarceration, addiction, and even cold-blooded, senseless murder. She's also been forced to watched in grief while so many children end their lives the same way their parents lived their lives. None of this stops her. Mother Shadiya is very determined. She refuses to give up until she can break the GENERATIONAL CURSE, successfully preventing her children, and grandchildren from falling into the exact same plot predicated on over 400 years of bondage. This short story has a Sister Sledge edge. It will keep you flipping pages. Mother Shadiya is the mother of TOMMY'GUNZ Tommy is a characters from my Novella entitled VICIOUS. In order to better understand a person, it's wise to study the person's environment and circumstances. My aim is to provide all my readers with a complete surreal experience. Learn to love, hate, and live with my characters as if they were real people.
