About this ebook

THE WIZARD KNIGHT springs from the myths, legends and literature of times past.

A teenager passes from Earth to a magical realm of seven worlds, where he is given a hero's adult body and named Able. Though forced to act as a man, inside he is still a boy, even as he sets off to find his destined sword and become a knight.

In his quest he battles giants, meets gods, heroes and a sorceress (who repeatedly tries to seduce him), and serves the mercurial dragon king Arnthor in a was that could end everything.

The long standing device of the unreliable narrator has rarely been used better, if ever. I loved this story for all of the things that weren't spelled out for the reader - it makes the read slower, more thoughtful and much, much richer to an audience willing to unpack it.

The plot started of interesting but grew very tedious. While the world was rich with characters i didn't feel any built a relationship with Sir Able (main character), more you were told they did. Gene tried to make everything a mystery in this book and it became very annoying when he skipped back and forward through the story time line, cut out 20 year and explained it in 2 paragraphs, and many more things. The only thing i actually really liked about these books(The Knight and The Wizard) was that they ended.
