To fight a fire from an aircraft, it was not only necessary to have a perfect knowledge of our aircraft and flight techniques. Understanding how a forest fire breathes and feeds, identifying its weaknesses to inflict maximum damage, and knowing how the Human Factor influences our decisions were as important subjects as flight techniques.
We must keep in mind that this is a combat flight, and as such, it includes other elements that affect the flight.
