This book is incredibly unique in several ways; the heroine is a plus-sized girl who eats a lot, main characters are not white and the desert setting. Amazing! There are definitely not a lot of books that meet all of these criteria - perhaps one of them, but not all three. The writing is really good as well and it's really hard to predict the outcome of various twists and turns. I'm actually a bit surprised that I'm not giving this a 5 star rating, but for some reason it did not feel right. Might update this review once I figure out why I feel this way, because the book's really good and I'm definitely going to continue this series!
