About the author
Fatchiyah adalah Profesor di bidang Genetika Molekuler di Jurusan Biologi FMIPA UB. Lulus S1 tahun 1988 pada Fakultas Biologi, Universitas Gajah Mada, Yogyakarta. Pada tahun 1995 lulus S2 pada Pasca Sarjana Kedokteran Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya. Menyelesaikan pendidikan S3 di National Institute for Basic Biology, School of Life Sciences, The Graduate University for Advances Studies, Okazaki, Aichi, Jepang pada tahun 2006 dalam bidang Molecular Biomechanics.
