About the author
Ray Bradbury (1920-2012) was een Amerikaans schrijver en beheerste een scala aan genres, van sciencefiction tot speculatieve fictie en van horror tot coming-of-age. Ook schreef hij film- en televisiescripts, voor onder meer de klassieke serie The Twilight Zone. Fahrenheit 451 is zijn belangrijkste boek.
