Ciao!

Italian cooking is one of the most delightful cooking in the world. The sauces, the meats, the cheeses, the pastas – there is something in it for everyone!

But what if you could truly capture that magnificent taste of Italy?

Imagine your family closing their eyes and savoring every bite they take exploding with mouth-watering flavor. Imagine the cheese stretching from here to kingdom come with every scrumptious gooey bite of heaven that will have everybody saying "Mamma Mia!"

Can it get any better than that? Yes it can! "Excel Italian Cooking" is not solely about the dishes themselves, although that is a huge part of it. You’ll experience so much more.

Here's a sample taste of what you'll get:

- Italian Food Culture and History. You will learn about the culture and the history of the food in Italy. This includes some really interesting information very few people know outside of Italy.

- Factors for Italian Cooking. There are factors that come into play when it comes to Italian cooking that will be touched on. These include: health issues, others' consideration, intense flavors, cooking styles, and prep understanding.

- Breakfast Recipes. The extra rich boldness of the Italian breakfast that will fill you up quickly in small quantity size to save the best for later in the day.

- Lunch Recipes. The full-hearty authentic taste of what is means to be Italian. And no, we're not talking about your American pizza and spaghetti.

- Dinner Recipes. The Italian restaurant fine dining can be brought home and made within your very own kitchen with these dinner recipes for the Epitome of the Eataly Experience.

...and that's just for starters.

If you really want to get into the art of Italian cooking, then "Excel Italian Cooking" will give you everything there is you need to know to get started from the history, the culture, and best of all, the food.

Wow your family and friends at your next get-together with a delicious Italian feast, where they’ll wonder what is your secret sauce to this (muah!) "perfetto" cooking.

Buon appetito!

I used to only know how to cook lasagna or spaghetti, now I know a few other dishes as well. This book taught me not only how to cook Italian food but it gave me a bit of background on Italy and where the different dishes come from as well. I knew that there were Italian food dishes lasagna and spaghetti spices the spices that do into them, however, preparing them was a different story. What I didn't know was how rich that Italian food could actually be until listening to this book. I also found out that like in the US it is all about location, location, location on how one dish could taste in one region that it would in another. I don't know whether I want to buy my Cafe Latte now or make it myself, although it does take me a bit longer to make, and mine does taste a better. I also learned of a few new breakfasts to make at home that might make me and the wife gain a bit more weight, which she wouldn't be happy about. Lunches and dinners were the same way however these were so rich i do have an idea i will not be cooking some of these very often as they are and some rich food i just can't handle very well. My wife did love the items I did cook from this book, so I am sure I will be cooking some again when she gets tired of being in the kitchen. I will also suggest this book to my friends who like to cook as well.

What a great way to be introduced to Italian Cooking! To me, Italian cooking beyond a pot of spaghetti seemed to be out of reach. I didn’t have a lot of confidence in my ability to successfully execute an Italian recipe. After all, I had tried and failed many times. So when I received this book I was really excited and a little skeptical. I mean I had failed so many times before with other recipes. I read the book and thought that these recipes, though they were few in number, just might be doable. So the first one I tried was the breakfast Muesli. It was so easy and delicious! It reminded me of a breakfast I had in Switzerland when I was an exchange student. The success of the Muesli gave me the courage to try another. I decided to try a lunch recipe next, Risotto Croquettes. These are quite time-consuming to make but they were not difficult, and they were delicious. Even my husband and my niece loved them! I loved the Sausage and Tortellini Soup that I made. It was so simple and delicious! The leftovers were even better the next day! I would definitely recommend that you purchase this book if you feel that preparing a tasty Italian dish is not in your skillset. After reading, preparing the recipes, and doing the exercises, you will be equipped with the confidence to tackle more Italian recipes.
