About this ebook

A useful book for parents of young children embarking on the delicate journey of normalising after the passing of a loved one. Accompanied by heartfelt illustrations, this simple, gentle story in poem form introduces young ones to the concept of death, and how we can find healing and comfort by celebrating the memory of those no longer with us.

About the author

Eve Verne was a writer and researcher for museums & exhibitions before becoming the mother of an over-active toddler; so perhaps it was inevitable that she would turn her love of science, diagrams and storytelling to creating narratives with children's learning and development in mind.

Her other longstanding passions are Mindfulness meditation for the development of emotional intelligence and self management, the science of breath work, and a bit of yoga. When she’s not too busy mom-ing or writing, she teaches Mindfulness workshops for adults and children
