About this eBook

Welcome to Farraday Country, a modern twist on the favorite 7 Brides for 7 Brothers theme set in cattle-ranching west Texas, with all the friends, family and fun that fans have come to expect from USA TODAY Bestselling author Chris Keniston.

The maverick brother in a family of Texas ranchers, Ethan Farraday found happiness in the cockpit of a Marine helicopter. When his career choice is threatened by a recent injury and the unexpected discovery of a baby daughter, the last thing he needs is to lock horns with a feisty woman hell-bent on turning what's left of his world upside down.

The middle of the Amazon is no place to discover your free-spirited sister has left her baby on someone else's doorstep. Determined to correct her sister's wrong, Dr. Allison Monroe follows the trail to Tuckers Bluff and comes toe to toe with a six foot dreamy cowboy and his arsenal of helpful relatives eager to make love not war.

She has done it again!!!! I am totally in love with all of the Faraday brothers, but the women they discover are so perfect for them I can't even be jealous! Ethan's story continues the standard of excellence established with Adam and maintained through each of the other books in the series. This series is for readers who love deeply connected characters with heart and integrity. The frequent bouts of humor and episodes of amazing warmth help make this series outstanding. Ethan's controlled hard landing while deployed saved the men on his helicopter, but it has "landed" him in the hospital with injuries that are going to take some time to heal, too much time for a Marine helicopter pilot who flies for the adrenaline rush as much as for the love of his country. He knows the recovery period will bring pain and frustration but never imagines that he will spend it getting to know the newest member of the Faraday clan, his much unexpected daughter. Nor does he expect to spend it getting to know a shy but brilliant doctor who touches something inside him, this man who believes that relationships weaken the warrior. For fans of the series, our mystic dog shows up in San Diego and in Tuckers Bluff. I requested and receive an advance readers copy of this book from the author. The review is voluntary and reflects my views. I always review books I love and I do love this book.

I waited anxiously for Ethan to be finished. I love the stories of this family, the Farradays are such a joy to read, and Ethan's was no exception. I was forwarded a copy for free to review, and I would recommend this book to everyone. But, in my opinion, it was too short, I needed more of Ethan & Allison! I love Aunt Eileen, she is the backbone to the family. And I love the magic of the dog. One of my favourite lines in the book is...'Mom and Aunt Eileen have found their people'. That's the way I feel about this fictional family...the way Chris writes, I feel like every one of them are 'my people', too. And Finn thinks he's going to live a quiet life now (haha), I can't wait to see what is in store for him!

The Farradays are full of surprises, blessed with love and touched by mystery. Heaven on earth is the best way to describe this close knit family. The trials they face make them stronger. I have been looking forward to Ethan ever since Declan. The snippets about his playboy bachelor ways and the surprising twist that left him, was a priceless intro to his story. Baby Brittany is as adorable as can be. The circumstances surrounding her mother, not so much. For people like Allison and Ethan who have witnessed some of the world's ugliest moments first hand, could this surprise end up being a blessing in disguise. Ms. Keniston continues to tickle the funny bone, touch the heart and create beautiful inspiring stories.

About the author

USA TODAY Bestselling author Chris Keniston's love of a good story and frustration with the end of a well known author's romance best seller, drove her to pen her own works of romance and fiction.

Her romantic women's fiction novels include a variety of themes from international settings dealing with wealthy millionaires, family feuds and tropical beaches, to the relationships between family and friends in small town Texas, and to sisterhood and friendship in the award winning novel The Champagne Sisterhood.

Currently working on the contemporary romance Aloha series and her brand-new contemporary western romance Farraday Country series, Chris Keniston is enjoying playing with her former military heroes. Using popular themes of small towns and sandy beaches blended with stories of the single dad, survivors guilt, an accidental wedding and more is making the Aloha Series a reader's choice.

A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Author of more than a dozen contemporary novels, including a finalist for the prestigious Golden Heart Award, Chris lives in suburban Dallas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.
