AF MC Ohio (Book Two)

Casey was not a character I had expected to get his own book to be very transparent here. There were peeks of him throughout the main series here but he didn't grab my attention. Oddly enough, I'm wondering if that was the authors master plan? Sneek in a duet with two lesser known characters and smack the readers stupid with pinpoints of clues of their past mentions?! Yes, I think she waved her wand and the chaos began! Casey may seem like the classic 'good guy' to most. He works on the right side of the law, dedicates his life as a federal officer to protect and serve. It's the life path he chose after living a childhood of ups and downs without any real roots for a long time. It's part of the reason both he and Ransom flew under the radar so to speak throughout the other books. He's as loyal as they come and will do what's right as he's sworn to do. He has ignored his own desires to be part of the brotherhood that has surrounded him for years. Putting his career first never afforded him that right. It all ends when his brother Ransom calls him in for some extra support. His life changes in an instant, and he has no regrets. Wendy has lived the lifestyle her entire life. The MC life is not one she wanted for herself. Having been on the wrong side of the law for so many years as she's had no choice to do otherwise, she picks a career that does what she wants. To be a good guy, the one to serve others and give a voice to those who can no longer tell what happened to them. Her job in forensics allows her to change lives in a better way. It hasn't always been easy for her to do that and walk away from the outlaw life. When her life changes quickly, she too has no regrets. They come together as a team to battle to find answers and to blur the very lines they swore to not stray from. Casey will give up everything to protect those he loves. Even his career, and give in to his darker side. Wendy will prove to be a force that should never be reckoned with and kick some serious booty. With this book, expect the unexpected. Even when you think you've figured things out she has a way of swinging you around and questioning how she was able to sprinkle her sorcery and have you demanding more! This is the finale of the duet, and I want more dang it! Seriously, go read this book, I take cookies and books as thank yous. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
