Well Met, indeed! A thoroughly engrossing read especially if you have been following these characters through the previous Novels. The book weaves romance and magic so beautifully that i found myself bouncing from tears to excitement chapter to chapter. I wouldn't consider myself one that reads romance, but I think I might be missing out. The characters wrestling with their own thoughts become the main points of battle and allow for a closeness to the characters not always found in a D&D book. It is that though, a D&D novel and if you came here for swords, spells, ancient tomes, decoding languages belonging to gods, devils, dragons and all the other dope stuff people love about the setting. Excited to dig into the next book to see the further adventures in love and magic of Farideh and Havilar.

I still can't decide if this or The Adversary was better, but either way, Fire in the Blood is an excellent story that could fit easily into a shelf of classic sword and sorcery novels.
