Tall, Dark and Irresistible has a take on the friends to lovers trope, and it was so very well done. While Leo and Peyton haven't really seen each other since they were chemistry lab partners in college, they were friends then and though there was an attraction between them, Leo had a girlfriend, so neither of them would have ever acted upon it. Let me just say I totally fell in love with this book from page one. I loved that while Leo had no reason whatsoever for helping Peyton out, he stepped up and gave it his all. I absolutely loved Leo and Peyton as a couple. They might have started out pretending, but I could quickly tell they have real feelings for one another. Add in their absolutely amazing and smoking hot chemistry, and I got all the happy feels from them together. Seriously the more time they spent together, the more I wanted the fake relationship to become a real one. Honestly the only part I didn't love was Peyton feeling like she had to lie to her parents about being in a relationship. I totally understood once we met them, but I also really wanted her to act more like the adult she wanted to be treated like and be honest with them from the beginning. I have to say I loved that Peyton's dad seemed to get why she faked a relationship and really tried to step back one the truth came out. I also loved he was the one to help her mom see the light as well. I love that Leo and his brothers are so very close, and they each had no trouble kicking him in the butt when needed to help him realize how important Peyton really as to him. I've loved seeing each of the first two Stone brothers find the loves of their lives so far. Erika Wilde once again delivered a sexy romance that was just what I wanted to read. I highly recommend Tall, Dark and Irresistible to readers who love contemporary romances. Rating: 5 Stars (A) Review copy provided by publisher

3.75 stars-- TALL, DARK & IRRESISTIBLE is the second instalment in Erika Wilde’s contemporary, adult TALL DARK AND SEXY erotic, romance series. This is fashion designer Peyton Bishop, and business owner Leo Stone’s story line. TALL, DARK AND IRRESISTIBLE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Told from dual third person perspectives (Leo and Peyton) TALL, DARK & IRRESISTIBLE follows the fake-relationship between former college classmates fashion designer Peyton Bishop, and business owner Leo Stone. Upon graduation Peyton Bishop left her parent’s home in San Diego for the bright lights and independence of New York City but desperate to keep her parents happy Peyton lied about her personal relationships. For close to nine months our heroine faked an online relationship with former, college classmate Leo Stone, a man her parents were hoping to meet. With her cousins upcoming wedding Peyton makes Leo an offer he cannot refuse-one week, fake boyfriend to appease her parents sense of safety and love. What ensues is the quick building romance and relationship between Leo and Peyton, and the potential fall-out as Peyton returns to New York City while Leo must remain in San Diego. Peyton Bishop has crushed on Leo Stone since their days together as lab partners. Believing Leo Stone would probably not recognize her, Peyton must come to terms with the possibility that the lies she told her parents will finally be revealed. Leo Stone lusted after Peyton Bishop but Leo’s previous relationship all but destroyed his heart. Left at the altar, Leo has sworn off relationships and the possibility of a happily ever after. The relationship between Leo and Peyton is friends/acquaintances to lovers; a fake boyfriend/girlfriend arrangement meant to appease our heroine’s family. Years have not supressed Peyton’s attraction to our story line hero, and Leo’s attraction to Peyton is the same in return. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and seductive without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. We are reintroduced to Leo’s business partners and brothers Aiden (Daisy) and Dylan Stone, as well as Dylan’s plus one Serena ; Peyton’s long suffering and over-protective parents Tawny and Carson Bishop; and Leo’s mother Grace. TALL, DARK & IRRESISTIBLE is a story of family, fun, secrets and lies. The premise is sexy and passionate; the characters are colorful and charismatic; the romance is flirty and intense. TALL, DARK & IRRESISTIBLE is another quick and light-hearted addition to Erika Wilde’s Tall, Dark & Sexy.

What a hot, steamy and wonderful romance story Erika Wilde wrote with Tall, Dark, and Irresistible, book two in her Tall, Dark, and Sexy Series. After being left at the altar, Leo Stone does not believe in love and struggles with trusting women. Peyton Bishop remembered her chemistry lab partner and used his name and pictures of him to appease her overbearing parents’ worries about her living across the country in New York City. When Peyton returns to San Diego for her cousin’s wedding she asks Leo to pretend to be her boyfriend after coming clean about what she told her parents. I love how independent Peyton was yet still the loving daughter, not wanting to upset her parents. Peyton and Leo might have known each other back in college but spending time together emphasized not only their attraction but also the chemistry sparking between them. They got along quite well, as if this wasn’t a reunion of acquaintances but long time lovers. Leo’s role in this charade was played well and he showered Peyton with attention and adoration, but I was surprised by his reaction to Peyton’s use of those 3 special words, I Love You. I thought that with all the care and compassion Peyton gave to him that he had recovered from the awful feelings he had after not being enough for his ex. However, when he realized his mistake, Leo made more than a grand effort to compensate for it, letting Peyton know how he truly felt. Ms. Wilde wrote a wonderful, sexy story; filled with sexual chemistry, fun dialogue, and endearing characters. I so enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down, turning page after page, wanting more once I turned that last page. In fact I read this book in one day. I highly recommend this book to other readers and look forward to her next book in this series.
