About this ebook

When a computer virus destroys society, a high school kid must learn to survive in this YA apocalyptic thriller series debut.

A person can last three minutes without air, three days without water, and three weeks without food. But without technology, a community will collapse almost immediately. That’s what sixteen-year-old Adam Daley learns one shocking afternoon when computers around the globe shut down in a viral catastrophe.

At Adam’s high school, the problem first seems to be a typical electrical outage, until students discover that cell phones are down, municipal utilities are failing, and a few computer-free cars like Adam’s are the only vehicles that function.

Driving home, Adam encounters a storm tide of anger and fear as the region becomes paralyzed. Soon—as resources dwindle, crises mount, and chaos descends—he will see his suburban neighborhood band together for protection. And Adam will understand that having a police captain for a mother and a retired government spy living next door are not just the facts of his life, but the keys to his survival.

The beginning was fast paced. However the further I read I got bored and bored and bored. Repetition.... Gets old real quick. This book could of easily have been 100 pages shorter.. Same with book 2 & 3.

This book was incredibl3. But I want more. It stop so abruptly. Even the episode was great. But we need more of those people and their struggles. Please!

The book spares no time starting off with the main conflict of the story. It keeps you tuned in through the entire book. I don't read often but if I found more books like this one, that fact would change for sure! The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is because it ends very abruptly with no cliff hanger or reason really to read the rest of the series.
