Ervin Laszlo es fundador y Presidente del Club de Budapest, fundador y Director del General Evolution Research Group, administrador de la Universidad Interdisciplinaria de París, socio de la World Academy of Arts and Sciences, miembro de la International Academy of Philosophy of Science, senador de la International Medici Academy y editor del periódico internacional World Futures: The Journal of General Evolution. Laszlo es autor o coautor de setenta y cuatro libros que se han traducido a más de veinte idiomas y es editor de otros veintinueve volúmenes que incluyen una enciclopedia de cuatro tomos. Considerado el mayor exponente de los sistemas filosóficos y de la teoría de la evolución general, sus investigaciones más recientes se centran en el desarrollo de una ciencia integral que incluya lo cuántico, el cosmos, la vida y la consciencia. Además de sus estudios teóricos, Laszlo es notable por su trabajo en los campos de la gestión y de las ciencias del futuro. Tiene un doctorado por la Sorbona y ha recibido cuatro Doctorados Honoris Causa (en los Estados Unidos, Canadá, Finlandia y Hungría), el muy prestigioso Premio Goi de la Paz en Japón y otras distinciones. Dr. Ervin Laszlo's "The informed universe" is a more popular and accessible restatement of the ideas he had already put down in his other books. He describes his version of an informed universe and presents the "field A" as the cornerstone to a new scientific theory that works as an answer to everything that the modern science hasn't got answers to or just paradoxical ones.
