The polar bears habitat is slowly warming up and they have less ice on which to sit and hunt. The polar bears have to travel a longer distance to find solid for resting. All of these changes are making life for the polar bear difficult.

This book describes the changing environment for the Polar bear. The global warming caused by human activity is a disaster for the Polar bear. He cannot adapt to the fast changes that are occurring in the arctic region. This has resulted in a decimation of the Polar bear population and is now in extreme endangered species status. This book aptly conveys this information and also provides information on their habitat, reproduction, physical characteristics, hunting grounds and gathering hotspots.
