It was so nice to be able to visit Sibby's world and see her functioning as a full-fledged adult (kinda...it IS Sibby!) Her twins are now 7 and their family is living Upstate, having planted roots outside of the city along with their close friends. Sibby is finding success as children's book author under a secret pen name while various people in her world pressure her about writing another romance novel. She's pleasantly surprised when a call from her mother alerts her to the fact that she's inherited a home in Gator Springs, Florida from a long-lost relative she doesn't even remember meeting. Sibby's trip to Florida gives this already lighthearted book the sort of fun vibes you'd expect from the small-town romance trope. Sibby's new house has its share of surprises, both pleasant and otherwise, including porcelain dolls, neighbors with casseroles, a gorgeous beach, and possibly a resident ghost. Sibby explores her town and gets to know her neighbors with the help of a mix of new and familiar side characters. For once, it's not Sibby bringing the drama, but hilarity still ensues as we watch her try to handle the challenges thrown her way. I felt like this last installment in the Sibby series was the perfect finale. It's lighthearted and sweet while still maintaining a full helping of Sibby's crazy and setting our beloved characters up for their much-deserved happily ever afters. Even better, Sibby and Aidan's marriage continues to be #relationshipgoals!
