About the author

Dr. Richa Verma was born and raised in Sagar (MP) in the rich academic ambience of Sagar University (now known as Dr. H.S. Gour University). She did her M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Sagar University in English Literature, while immersing herself in modern confessional poetry. She has twenty years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and is currently an Assistant Director, School of Languages, CSJM University, Kanpur. Her research focus is on Modern American Poetry and serves as an Associate Editor, Journal of Literature, Culture and Media Studies. She is also a Member of the Royal Society of Literature (UK).
