डॉ. फखरे आलम खान 'विद्यासागर' सन् 2000 के पहले और दूसरे दशक में सबसे अधिक चर्चा में रहने वाले उपन्यासकार हैं। ये इकलौते ऐसे लेखक हैं जिनके नाम से पहले डॉ. लगा हुआ है, अंत में ‘विद्यासागर’। ये इस मामले में भी अलग पहचान रखते हैं कि इनके सामाजिक उपन्यास भी छपे हैं, जासूसी उपन्यास, कहानी संग्रह तथा एकांकी भी। खान साहब अब डिजिटल दुनिया में भी कदम रख चुके है क्योंकि अब तक उन्होने प्रिन्ट एडिशन में भी पाठकों में अपनी अच्छी पकड़ बना रखी है।
